Dwarf planet but yeah reaching the an object on the outskirts of our solar system so far away the human mind isn’t really capable of even properly thinking of the scale truly involved... That’s a good day at the office.

The size of space is really mind boggling. Even the closest things like mars is 225.3 Million kms aways, that about 140 million miles.

Part of me wanted the calculations to be a little off so that someone at NASA could shout “boom headshot! Fuck you Phil I told you I could do it! #360noscope!” when it smacked into the side of Pluto.

Then 300 years from now when we land someone on Pluto they see the remnants of NH and mutter “yeah.. fuck you Phil”

It recently was reinstated as a planet I thought because I saw a bunch of news about it being one again.

“Space is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist, but that’s just peanuts to space.”

It may have been I might have missed it, but I doubt it, because there’s Larger kyper belt objects then Pluto and it “didn’t clean its orbit” but who knows maybe social media forced their hand?
